A trough running through eastern QLD and NSW is triggering showers and thunderstorms. A front approaching southern WA is only bringing the odd shower. A broad ridge of high pressure is keeping the southern states mostly dry. Warm winds are building over SA ahead of a trough. The northern jet is dipping south over QLD and northern NSW, helping to trigger thundery showers. The southern jet is directing a front towards southwest WA.

Moist easterly winds and a trough inland will cause further showers across northeastern NSW and eastern QLD, some heavy. A front will bring a late burst of light showers to the WA southwest coast. Mild northwest winds will cause a few showers over western TAS.

Moist easterly winds will cause showers over northern NSW and eastern QLD. Warm northerlies will raise temperatures over western NSW, VIC, TAS and SA before a trough and front brings a late showery burst to SA. Isolated showers across southern WA in cool onshore winds.

Warm northerly winds will affect western QLD, NSW and VIC before a front brings a cooler change to VIC and TAS . An upper through will help cause a few light showers across southern Australia as a high clears WA and SA.

Moist winds will help to cause a few showers over the east ahead of a trough. Cool westerlies will maintain showers across western TAS. A trough may trigger isolated showers along the western coast of WA. Hot winds will continue across the interior.

Winds will tend more onshore over the northern and central QLD coasts, bringing a few showers. A trough may help to trigger isolated falls over southwest WA. Westerly winds may bring a few showers to TAS, mainly over the southwest. Staying clear and dry elsewhere.
